Lego Club Links

Brickfilms.com – Brickfilms is a website dedicated to the use of Legos in stop-motion animation. They have forums where people can post videos, get feedback, ask questions, and talk about Legos. They also have a tutorials section for people just starting out. Some sections don’t work currently, but there’s still a lot of content!

Lego Builders of Tomorrow - The Lego Club website sponsored by the Lego Corporation. They have some good resources and links around the web to additional information. They also have tips for starting your own Lego Club.

Vignette Bricks – This is a blog that posts still images of scenes created with Legos. There’s a lot of inspiration to show kids how much can be created with Lego bricks. It’s also a lot more approachable if you aren’t quite ready to dive into stop-motion animation.

Jittergram – If you have an iOS device, this FREE photography app is a great way to dive into stop-motion animation. You can use the app to take a series of pictures, and the app will stitch all the pictures together in sequence. The best thing about it is that there is a “ghost image” of your previous picture on the screen while you take the next picture. This really helps when you’re trying to just barely change things in a scene.
